Based near Reading in Berkshire, Pico Productions provides companies and individuals with the means to promote their products or services through video marketing.
This service also applies to charities and other organisations to promote their work or special project.
WHY ‘PICO’?
It is the name of Pico Island in the Azores and was the suggestion of a fellow guest on a Whale & Dolphin research holiday. Pico looked similar to ‘Paramount’ and a production name was needed for the video of the trip. The name complements the passion for filming whales and dolphins and helping with their conservation.
About our Videographer
Our cameraman is a Member of The Guild of Television Cameramen, and an Associate Member of The Institute of Videography. He has been a keen amateur photographer for many years, winning awards at various competitions. Turning to video in 2000, he produced acclaimed videos for fellow guests on wildlife holidays; this led to work with two charities – Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC)(formally Society) and Organisation Cetacea.
He retired as a Professional Engineer in 2010, but remains a Chartered Quality Professional. This background and expertise ensures the quality of each and every video production.
